WSO2 is an open source enterprise middleware company that offers award-winning technology to businesses with an open source license (translation: it's free). I translated a lot of engineering jargon into lingo anyone can easily understand.
Key Responsibilities
Case studies: interview people and write their stories.
Daily coverage: gather, recap and report.
Events: coordinated local events, including WSO2’s annual conference (WSO2Con in San Francisco, CA).
Executive leadership management: organize schedules and interviews.
Media and analyst briefings: schedule, conduct, and recap them.
Pitch: reach out to press, secure and generate original coverage.
Press releases: research information, write and present it.
Submissions: events, speaking and editorial opportunities.
White papers: effectively recap and promote new releases.
